Planning your teen's birthday celebration can be rather overwhelming. From the decor theme, to the invite list, to the location and all the details in between. All those factors are important, but not as crucial as the menu. So where do you start? And like what do teens eat? We took on the challenge and understood the assignment. No worries at all, we put our thinking caps on and helped our client Natalie come up with a menu that not only would the guests enjoy but had Kiaralys, (the birthday girl) faves in mind.
The theme of the birthday bash was around the world, and the client wanted the feel to be as least formal as possible. We executed a live station combo with butler passed hors d' oeuvres. Some of the stations were "Little Italy", Which featured a few pasta favorites. A highlight was our individual lasagna casseroles. Kiaralys gave her stamp of approval on this one!
Another station was one of our favorite, the American table. We felt inspired by New York, so cheeseburger sliders and Hot dogs headlined this one. This definitely created a buzz among the crowd especially the little ones. The stations along with the two rounds of butler passed hors d'oeuvres, provided the guests with options through out the night.
